Research Field:

Heterogeneous catalysis (nanocatalysts and single-atom catalysts, model catalysts);

He focusses the characterizing the atomic structure of catalytic active sites in different reactions under work conditions, and the catalytic mechanism study by both experimental approaches and theoretical calculations (VASP, etc.). He has rich experience in materials synthesis, batch-mode and fixed-bed catalysis in ambient or high-pressure, analysis of catalytic kinetics, microscopies and various spectroscopies analysis (EPR, NMR, UV-vis, IR, etc.), and other normal characterizations in catalysis. He is also familiar with the XAS analysis using Demeter, FEFF, , and FitIt, etc.
